Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian, is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actor soon after her move to the United States. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (from). Apart from commercial appearances, she was a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl in Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot TV series New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and she fled antisemitism when she was two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial difficulties led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she quit and obtained a GED. She went on, however, to obtain the Bachelor of Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
